Also in daily use: online seva booking, front-office counter software for sevas, rooms and donations, seva kiosks, a device authenticator that replaced OTP logins, live room-availability displays and the Counter Watch operations dashboard.

Counter staff repeatedly issued prasada tokens using a manual workflow. The task itself was simple, but performing it continuously during busy periods increased operator effort and reduced consistency.
A dedicated touchscreen kiosk application built exclusively for staff. The interface intentionally reduces the complete transaction to a simple two-tap workflow — the emphasis was not on adding features, but on reducing operator effort for a task performed thousands of times.

Not everything we build starts with a brief. These are working prototypes — an operating-system shell, a pocket device and a developer tool — built to push our own craft in hardware, astronomy, audio and interface design.
PrajnaOS — a home screen built around the Hindu calendar
A phone-style OS shell where the day itself is the interface: a sky that follows the real sun, an awareness line ("Rahu Kala begins in 20 minutes"), a library of stotras and essays, and a lock screen of upcoming observances.
- Its own panchanga engine from first principles — Meeus astronomy, NOAA sunrise, Lahiri ayanamsa and a bisection solver for exact end times
- Ported line-for-line from JavaScript to Dart, with a parity tool comparing 120 days of output
- Offline by construction: published almanacs cached locally, a bundled library, an in-house on-screen keyboard
- Boots straight into the shell on a Pi, with a supervisor, idle-sleep and a guard that never blanks the screen mid-reading
Pocket — a small, always-ready object
A palm-sized AMOLED device with no account, no app and no keyboard. Lift it to wake: the time and the day's almanac, a 108-bead japa counter driven by thumb-roll and motion, and a one-tap meeting recorder.

- One C99 core runs identically in a desktop simulator and on the device's firmware — custom renderer, typeface, spring physics and gestures
- Board bring-up done stage by stage: display, touch, motion, clock, power and audio
- Recordings upload in resumable chunks during the meeting, then transcribe on our own machine with a local Whisper model; cloud summaries are optional
DevPulse — know your limits, code with confidence
A local-first desktop dashboard that tells developers how much of their AI coding assistant's usage window remains, and whether it's safe to start a long task.
- An animated ring gauge, provider cards, a session timeline and a "safe to start" prediction — currently driven by sample data
- Groundwork done: we documented where usage data lives on disk and in rate-limit headers, without ever touching stored credentials
